For the brand-new Hotel De Plesman - located in the iconic former KLM headquarters - PERSU. designed a corporate clothing collection that combines its rich history with a modern look. The challenge? Stylish, practical and comfortable workwear that reflects both the atmosphere of the building and the identity of the hotel. About Hotel de Plesman
In the first quarter of 2025, Hotel De Plesman will open its doors in the historic former KLM headquarters. This iconic building, which was the airline's administrative centre for many years, will be given a new purpose as a luxury hotel. The name is a tribute to the Plesman family, who played a key role in the establishment and growth of KLM. With a strong connection between heritage and modernity, the challenge for PERSU. was clear: design a clothing collection that is both practical and comfortable, as well as a stylish nod to the building's history.
Our assignment
Our brief was clear: develop a corporate clothing collection that reflects the modern look of the hotel while honouring the building's rich history. The result? A perfectly balanced collection that combines functionality and style.
A unisex eye-catcher - the collection features a rust-coloured unisex overshirt, a versatile garment that is both casual and chic. It offers flexibility within the team and simplifies stock management by reducing the need for different sizes and styles.
A stylish F&B look - navy blouses combined with rust-coloured denim aprons were chosen for the F&B staff. This creates a harmonious whole, with a contemporary and stylish look that perfectly matches the hotel's atmosphere.
A connecting collection
Hotel De Plesman gives employees the freedom to subtly incorporate their own style into their workwear. Within certain colour frameworks, they can combine their own garments with the collection designed by PERSU. This ensures that each employee can maintain his or her identity, while the team still looks like a whole.
With this clothing line, we have created a collection that fits seamlessly with the identity of Hotel De Plesman: a mix of history and modernity, heritage and progress. The unique balance between recognisable elements and contemporary designs contributes to the hotel's mission: connecting, inspiring and taking hospitality to the next level.
